Apache Junction is located just east of Mesa. It boast many open landscapes in comparison to other East Valley cities and because of this, Apache Junction has a strong since of culture and outdoor vibes. The folks are super friendly. It just feels like an old Wild West cowboy town. Apache Junction is certainly unique. Lets take a look at the housing trends in the area!

Apache Junction has been on an incredible growth pace over the past twelve months rising over 13% in median home sales according to Trulia. This number is massive in comparison to other East Valley Cities that are more densely populated. This bodes well for new home owners in the area as well as future investors! Lets look at the numbers.

  • Average Median Sales Price: $166,000 in August of 2017 ; $187,000 August of 2018 (+$21,000)
  • Number of Sales:  214 by the end of July 2017 ; 269 by the end of July 2018
  • Median Price Per Square Foot: $172 as of August 2017 ; $206 as of August 2018

As you can see from the graphs, Apache Junction is experiencing its most explosive growth in over 10 years. This is a great area to monitor if you are looking for investment properties or a good bang for your buck!

As mentioned above, Apache Junction still maintains a strong culture with its open landscapes that evoke feelings of the old Wild West. Besides the numerous Golf Courses in the area, Apache Junction is host to numerous breath taking hikes that feature incredible landscapes of the entire valley and the mountains beyond. Here are some of the main attractions and sights Apache Junction has to offer!

Apache Junction is a more rural than areas such as Mesa and Gilbert. Apache Junction only has 7 schools in its district with an average of 19 students per classroom. State average is 23. There are also 4 charter schools in the area as well. Many homeowners and occupants in Apache Junction get boarder exemptions to send their kids to the bigger schools in the Mesa Unified School District as both cities are very close.
